  • Field Specialist - Wireline Conveyed Tools

    Full Time

    The opportunity has arisen for several operational roles within the company. We are looking for a variety of levels of experience for this role. Both Field and Senior Field Specialist roles are required. This position is responsible for safely applying appropriate procedures for the operation of tools and techniques to ensure quality and cost effective service is provided to each customer. This position is primarily performing Pipe Recovery Services with some Slickline Trigger Tool experience.

    Essential Responsibilities:

      • Plan and prepare for well site operations

      • Assures adherence to all safety regulations

      • Conduct well site operations to the satisfaction of the customer at the well site
      • Maintain knowledge of the latest technological changes and operating procedures pertaining to Company equipment, tools, and practices to ensure maximum operating efficiency
      • Maintain customer relations by establishing a positive image and confidence in the quality of services and ensures the confidentiality of all Pipe Recovery operations.
      • Maintain direct contact with customer’s representatives throughout the Pipe Recovery and / or Slickline Trigger Tool(s) operation; interpret common services in the assigned service area for customers
      • Promptly and accurately submit all required reports and data
      • Maintain assigned equipment and facilities in a neat, workable condition and conducts self in an exemplary manner at all times
      • Support Pipe Recovery / Slickline Trigger Tool Services objectives; participate in company and client activities

     

    QUALIFICATIONS / Requirements:

      • Diploma in Engineering or related discipline or 5+ years’ experience in the oil & gas industry as a Pipe Recovery / Slickline Trigger Tool Engineer is preferred.

      • Experienced and competent in the use and handling of explosives in the Oil & Gas industry
      • Ability and willingness to work on land and offshore.
      • Pass offshore/onshore medical.
      • Valid Driving License.
      • Willingness and ability to travel at a moments notice.
