Maintenance Technician & QC Inspector
Full-TimeThis role requires a self-motivated, enthusiastic and helpful individual with practical experience of equipment maintenance. Under minimal supervision, performs a variety of work in the general maintenance of facilities and offshore equipment. Performs related duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
- To maintain and service equipment in the workshop environment
- To ensure all processes are carried out in accordance with Company QMS processes and procedures
- Ensure all hand tools, plant and machinery used in the workshop are well maintained and are in a safe condition
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on machinery and plant to ensure all workshop safety practices are adhered to
- Complete all relevant documents accurately and correctly in a timely manner
- To utilise all workshop resources safely, efficiently and in a cost effective manner, and in accordance with manufacturers and Company’s recommended practices
- Assist with the loading/unloading of operations equipment
- Maintain a clean working environment
- Assist the department in meeting objectives and goals and maintain a constant effective level of communication both internally and externally
- Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor, within the physical constraints of the job
- Ability to work at short notice
- Flexible and adaptable to changing work environment
- Assist in other aspects of the business when required, including offshore.
Qualifications & Experience
- Good academic background
- Recognised mechanical background
- City and Guilds, SCOTVEC or NVQ qualifications
- Preferred Experience in a similar position, working on downhole electro-mechanical components
