As well as housing a team of brilliant minds, the Innovation Centre is home to The Claymore, SPEX's custom-built supercomputer. With a process speed in excess of 100 trillion operations per second, it is over 1,000 times faster than conventional engineering workstations. The Claymore is available for both SPEX led commercial projects and customer specific projects.
Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis methods are partnered with 3D prototyping facilities.
